a proud new home-owner!

I am happy to say that I am a proud new home-owner!  I can't even believe it.  I am beside myself y'all.  It's a liberating feeling at the same time also the most fearful!  My wallet feels a little lighter - not that it was even that heavy to begin with.  I close on March 20th and have to be out of my apartment by May 15th.  The timing is impeccable, thanks to my Divine Timekeeper!

I guess you could say "I'm engaged" (please see blog post dated 2.20.09 titled "home buying analogy" before starting any rumors!)

Ok...better go...have a thousand things that need to get done along with scheduling an inspection, finalizing my mortgage, signing a bazillion papers, and studying, working, and planning for a much needed vacation!!! (only 12 more days...)
