been a long time...

Hi friends,

It's been a while!  ...4 weeks to be exact!  Wow - I can't believe 4 weeks have gone by.  It's been a blur.  SO much has happened, but I won't go into all the gory (sp?) details.

I do have to tell you all that my condo closing was moved to April 9th!  Apparently because of the economic crisis, all mortgage companies are looking for every piece of paper under the sun to approve any mortgage.  Even for someone with good credit and money in the bank (like moi)!  Oh well, refer to what I said in the post below about my Divine Timekeeper....this delay is probably for the best.

Oh - another important note.  I am in love with the city of Paris!   I just came back from vacation last Sunday night (already been 5 days? where did this week go?!) and decided that I am a closet-European.  London and Paris were my cities of choice for a 2009 vacation.  What a wonderful week with my buddy (Meghan), no cell phone, no internet, no school, no family (I did miss them a little), and no work stress.  Nothing but my buddy, our cameras, laughter, crepes upon crepes, cafes bordering every street, gorgeous architecture, marvelous art work, and rich history!  Needless to say I took several hundred pictures.  They are forthcoming....stay tuned!  Just for the record, I could totally see myself living in London, by the way.

My new-found friends (others who were in our tour group) and I mastered The Tube (pronounced "The Chube" by locals) in London and The Metro in Paris.  I was impressed by us - it's actually not that hard to figure out the maps, but still neat that we were able to navigate ourselves around a new international big city!

One highlight for me was the opportunity to see Stonehenge!  Stonehenge is one of the wonders of the Medieval world, and in my opinion, more than just a pile of rocks. :)   I'm going to let Wikipedia explain Stonehenge to you...I'm excited because now I've seen TWO wonders of the world (Stonehenge and Taj Mahal)!  Each of them inspire me in different ways.  I'm humbled to be able to say I've seen them.  Like I said before....pictures are on their way!

That's all folks - I'm off to bed to give my brain a break.    There is WAY too much going on right now.  WAY too much.  I am so glad it's the weekend and glad to be back home!
