I came across the following few verses the past couple of days and they keep ringing the theme of Spring into my head....simply lovely, so I have to document it:
"So if you faithfully obey the commands I am giving you today--to love the LORD your God and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul- then I will send rain on your land in its season, both autumn and spring rains, so that you may gather in your grain, new wine and oil."
~Deuteronomy 11:13-14
"For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless."
~Psalm 84:11
"Faithfulness springs forth from the earth, and righteousness looks down from heaven. The LORD will indeed give what is good, and our land will yield its harvest."
~Psalm 85:11-12
Somehow those get me a little excited not only for the Spring season and Easter, which is around the corner, but also for what the future holds!
As lyrics in one of my favorite songs states:
"There's only One who knows,
What's really out there waiting,
In all the moments yet to be.
And all we need to know,
Is He's out there waiting,
To Him, the future's history."
